Hundreds of Users Affected
Sky Mobile is currently experiencing widespread issues, with hundreds of users reporting problems accessing the internet and making phone calls. The outage began at around 10:30 pm BST on May 17, 2023, and has affected customers across the UK.
Over 1,000 Reports
According to outage tracking website Downdetector, over 1,000 users have reported problems with Sky Mobile. The majority of reports (65%) are related to internet access, while the remaining 30% are related to phone calls.
Sky Acknowledges Issue
Sky Mobile has acknowledged the issue and is working to resolve it. The company has not yet provided an estimated time of resolution. In a statement, Sky said:
We are aware of an issue that is currently affecting some Sky Mobile customers. We are working hard to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and will provide updates as soon as we have more information.
